Mar 08, 2026"Rosticceria Gislon, tucked near San Lio, has been one of my go-to Venetian stops. Breakfast here was a carrozza of prosciutto and mozzarella, an arancino of shrimp and rocket, and a quick espresso – simple, homely, and good value. Dinner brought their signature roast chicken: generously portioned, well-seasoned, with crisp, fluffy potatoes, though the meat edged toward dryness. Popularity due to a refit has brought a cold edge to service and prices. The food remains unpretentious and satisfying. A rosticceria that is losing tradition and accessibility, yet has enough still to draw me back."
