4 Rosticceria Gislon, tucked near San Lio, has been one of my go-to Venetian stops. Breakfast here was a carrozza of prosciutto and mozzarella, an arancino of shrimp and rocket, and a quick espresso – simple, homely, and good value. Dinner brought their signature roast chicken: generously portioned, well-seasoned, with crisp, fluffy potatoes, though the meat edged toward dryness. Popularity due to a refit has brought a cold edge to service and prices. The food remains unpretentious and satisfying. A rosticceria that is losing tradition and accessibility, yet has enough still to draw me back.
5 This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the flat that we stayed in Venezia. It turned out amazing. They served delicious, and authentic local food from Venezia, good drinks, and good desserts. The service was excellent. The staff was nice, and he helped us chose the popular dishes/drinks/desserts. Thank you for the good service.
5 The place is packed. The food looks good we had this fried mozzarella with anchovies. That’s good we went back for more
5 What a lively cafeteria spot with so many tempting food options. Prices are wallet-friendly. It gets quite busy even outside of regular meal times.
4 This is a great place to enjoy an aperitivo. I had a Mozzarella in Carrozza and a meat polpetta. It's a very busy place, so if you mind the crowds, you might want to take it away.
5 Fantastic food! The fried mozzarella with anchovies is my favorite. So delicious, like all their seafood. Seating is sparse and it is very loud and crowded, but service is quick. Large variety to choose from.
5 The Mozzarella in Carrozza was delicious. Place was lovely, loads of decorations. Staff super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
4 A nice place with delicious food, unfortunately our seafood risotto didn't have any pieces of seafood (which we thought was okay as the taste was great) but then we saw the people at the table next to us had many pieces of shrimp so that made us a bit sad. Taste of everything was good though.
Guests often enjoy the prosciutto and mozzarella carrozza, shrimp arancino, and their signature roast chicken with crispy potatoes.
It works well for both quick stops and sit-down meals, with a casual atmosphere and counter as well as table service.
The place gets busy even outside typical meal times, so visiting off-peak hours can offer a quieter experience.
